With 53 percent of the electorate, the PS has the opportunity to make the decisive test much greater than the victories of the future. The victory of the left coalition rests on the fact that the opposition voter was the spark in Parliament for an overwhelming, and at the same time necessary, majority. In these conditions, a new fact is becoming more and more necessary. Today's Tirana, with the pace of a city shaken for two years, is also building another kind of political existence. Nano's victory at last also includes a not insignificant part of the capital that has not allowed the state to fall completely. The first exit-poll figures seem to be quickly reshaping the politics of all Albania. At the close of the process, the coalition clearly needs another forum to administer this mandate. Up to now, PSD, PBD and others have been a useful help. Together with PDS they have brought to Tirana a new political model since the very first Monday after the elections. Such a victory is certainly a big one for the whole former opposition, but also important for those who did not vote for it. It seems that administering this victory will be just as difficult as its arrival itself. These elections have produced a clear message: the state cannot be the property of parties. For this reason, the new government will need to have a different spirit. The monarchy, according to the referendum result, was a test that the electorate could not overcome as a symbol of the state. From this point of view, the free vote also gave a lesson to the Albanian political elite. There is no going back to the culture of force. Instead, politics must build compromise and institutions. That is the winning word of this day.
